Some of the more obvious deficiencies affecting immunity are Vitamins A & C, and minerals such as zinc, selenium, iron and iodine.
Food reactivities can put considerable strain on the immune system, and once these have been addressed many people report a return to better health. The identification of any food substances (foods, food components and food additives) or environmental substances (a wide range including everything from cleaning products to horse hair to chalk dust!) that may be contributing to lowered immune function or increased vulnerability can be an important part of a return to good health.
